Mark the speaker turns
A dialogue is easier to edit when each reply has its own line. Paste the script and adjust the split if a greeting or interruption should stand alone. Keep stage directions outside the spoken text.
Use a main voice for the first speaker. Under each reply from the second speaker, choose another voice. A line keeps its override if you move it later.
Listen to the timing
Generate two adjacent replies first. A speaker change can sound abrupt even when both lines are clear. Try a longer pause after a question or a shorter one for a quick response. The pause after a line affects full playback and joined export, not the speech inside the separate clip.
Export for the next edit
Download one MP3 or WAV when you want a complete conversation. Use the ZIP when a video or audio editor needs each turn on its own track position. If a reply changes, regenerate and replace that clip rather than rebuilding every line.
